Five months ago, Accommodation Executives and Partners Betty and Brandon Scott kick started another expansion phase of their short term furnished accommodation portfolio with a dream and a prayer. In her dream, Betty saw herself spreading a queen-sized bed decked out in black and white with energetic pops of red in between. Brandon was putting up pictures on the wall. A building team was hired. They took on this project with lots of positive energy that made it very clear to the world that they were on a mission.

In an exclusive interview with Vacation Blogger Melonie Clement, Betty shared an encounter that reminded her of God's faithfulness and slew of surprises amidst life's many storms. Earlier that afternoon as Betty assisted a guest who was checking out of Garden Suite Atlanta, she couldn't help whispering a Thank You Prayer to God. "He is the one who is in charge of our moments. He allows us all to dream and he decides which dream is going to come through".

What's all the excitement about Garden Suite Atlanta?

​As businesses like hair salons and restaurants begin to reopen across some of the US States  including Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Betty Scott spoke with Vacation Blogger Melonie Clement this morning about the need for everyone to experience a (yearly) vacation or at the very least, a week-end get-away.  "There are close to 200 countries in the world with over 10,000 cities and I truly believe that we can take advantage of visiting a new country or city each time we go on vacation."  Although Mrs. Scott and her business partners admit to being biased toward vacationing in Jamaica (their home country), they have also travelled to over 35 cities and lived in 4 different countries and see it as an important life accomplishment.  She believes that this Corona Virus pandemic will be over (and) urges people to travel and experience other countries, cultures and foods. She is somewhat amazed that most Americans do not have a passport and some have never even left their city of birth. She believes that traveling does so much for your health, mind, exposure, tolerance and acceptance of the ‘other’. Friday, April 12th ... Haroldo J visits Atlanta, Georgia for a business meeting. He took the train from Atlanta's Jackson Hartfield Airport straight up to Indian Creek subway station. He then took a 5 minute bus ride from the station to Atlanta Short Term Furnished Suites. Upon arrival he is greeted with Jamaican style Rum Punch and Jamaican Jerk Chicken Patties. He gets a nap then head out to his meeting. Friday, evening he hangs out with us at Coco Cobana where we dine on Cuban food and participate in Salsa dancing lessons.
Saturday April 13th ... The Canadian posse checks into Atlanta Short Term Furnished Suite. We all go shopping, hanging out and fooling around. We all share a bit pot of Hominy Porridge... (Jamaican style of course).  Later on in the evening we go off to play dominoes until the "wee" hours of the morning.
Sunday, April 14th ... We are all at Church where the energy spells "vibrant" because after all, God is not dead. He is alive and so we worship him like there is no tomorrow. Sunday evening, we join in to "pig" out on Jamaican styled Rice and Peas and Curried Chicken.  After dinner, we go walking the neighborhood and stop by to say hi to our little "feather" friends who lives in the near by pond.  After our long evening walk, it's movie time at Atlanta Short Term Furnished Suites. 
Monday, April 15th Haroldo and the Canadian posse checks out.... They leave a note for us that goes like this ... "Thanks guys for redefining hospitality.... We had a wonderful time here at your Atlanta Short Term Furnished Suites. We will be back with friends."  As you can tell, here in "Hotlanta" Georgia, we spell the city differently. For us, it's the little things that we take the time to do that shows our guests that we truly care.

A guest coming in from South Carolina for her bar exams. We knew she would arriving very late. We figured she probably would not be able to get a quick bite since most of the restaurants would be closed by that time. We had a pizza in the oven waiting for her. That's the Atlanta Short Term Furnished Suite's staff going the extra mile to deliver on a unique accommodation promise.

A Canadian guest coming to Atlanta for her medical intern. Prior to her arrival, she asked if there were any Indian restaurants nearby and so we prepared a list of all the Indian Restaurants in the Atlanta region and even downloaded their menus for her. That's the Atlanta Short Term Furnished Suites's way of saying that we do listen.
